Sometimes you need more than another article, book or piece of general advice. You need an experienced reader who will engage properly with your screenplay, understand what you are trying to achieve and help you identify the strongest way forward.
I offer practical, honest and constructive support for screenwriters at different stages of development. Whether you are wrestling with an early draft, preparing a script for submission or developing a project over several drafts, the work begins with your intentions for the story.
Script Consultation
A focused conversation about your completed screenplay and the areas that need further development.
I will read your complete script before we meet. During the one hour consultation, we will examine what is working, identify what is holding the screenplay back and agree clear priorities for the next draft.

Script Report
A detailed written assessment of your screenplay, designed to give you a clear and practical route into the next draft.
Your report will examine areas such as structure, character, dialogue, pacing, theme and the clarity of the story you are trying to tell.
Includes:
• Advance reading of one complete screenplay
• A written report of approximately three to four pages
• Clear identification of the script’s strengths
• Prioritised recommendations for further development
• Maximum script length of 120 pages

Script Mentorship
Six individual development sessions focused on one screen project. This can include developing a treatment and working through successive drafts of the same script.
I will read the complete submitted draft before each session and provide detailed feedback on what is working, what needs further development and how to approach the next draft.
The package covers up to six submitted drafts of no more than 120 pages each. Sessions and submissions must follow an agreed schedule, with the package completed within six months of the first session unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Script Editing and Rewrite Support
A more intensive and collaborative service for screenwriters who need substantial editorial or rewriting support across a complete draft.
This may involve restructuring scenes, strengthening character development, revising dialogue and addressing problems that require direct work on the screenplay itself.
Every project is different. After an initial enquiry, projects requiring a full draft assessment will begin with a Script Consultation. If the editing or rewriting commission proceeds within 30 days, the £250 consultation fee will be deducted from the agreed project fee.
The scope, schedule, final fee, writing credit and contractual terms will be agreed separately in writing before work begins.

Bespoke Writing and Development Support
Some projects do not fit neatly into a standard service. I also offer individually designed support for screenplays, treatments, novels and other writing projects that require development over an agreed period.
The scope, number of drafts, schedule and fee will be agreed before the work begins.
